History will judge this, so will the voters.

Hundreds of migrant children are scattered across the country, living in foster care or with relatives, during a pandemic that has all but halted the legal effort to locate their parents.

"To say that people should not be afraid is to slight the memory of the more than 1 million who have died, including 209,000 Americans. It demeans the thousands more who have endured frightening illness and, in many cases, continue to suffer persistent symptoms. It disrespects the additional thousands of nurses, doctors, cleaners and other front-line workers who have risked their own lives and health to care for the ill. Mr. Trump shows not a shred of awareness that his own abdication of duty, failing to mount an effective pandemic response, played a major role in the United States suffering the highest coronavirus death toll in the world."

The virus cannot be wished away.

WASHINGTON POST EDITORIAL: "And voters learned — and learned and learned and learned — that Mr. Trump has nothing but contempt for the values and norms that are essential to democracy: among them, truth, civility and respectful disagreement. Mr. Trump’s lies about mail-in ballots were poisonous, and his attacks on Mr. Biden’s family were particularly vile. But the lowest point came when the president would not commit to accepting legitimate election results or to tell his supporters to refrain from causing civil unrest. Instead, he said that he is “counting on” a Supreme Court with a new Trump-appointed justice to “look at the ballots.” He called on his supporters to swamp polling places to look for “bad things,” a recipe for chaos. The violent hate group Proud Boys, he said, should “stand back and stand by.”

The nation learned — or relearned — that Mr. Trump has no positive case for reelection.

President Trump knew how deadly COVID19 was. He told Bob Woodward and its on tape. He lied, He refused to take responsibility. And 200,000 Americans are dead.

Dr. Anthony Fauci called the US reaching 200,000 coronavirus deaths "very sobering and in some respects stunning" at the CITIZEN by CNN virtual conference on the 2020 presidential election.
