NCCA is looking for Creative Aging Ambassadors!

This idea was born out of feedback from our members to have more locally based creative aging events that would help to mobilize and expand the impact of our field. Being a Creative Aging Ambassador means volunteering to lead a local chapter of the National Center for Creative Aging. The Ambassador will represent his/her city by leading a team and organizing local creative aging network opportunities and events throughout the year with the support of NCCA in Washington, D.C.

Along the way, the NCCA will help support the Ambassadors with monthly calls and other types of technical and leadership support. In turn, the Ambassadors will be given perks such as free VIP ticket to our 2018 conference and national exposure on our site and quarterly newsletter.

For more information and an application, please email us at [email protected]

Tidewater Arts Outreach elder artists created ornaments that adorn Virginia's state tree at the White House. We are honored to have been selected as the state arts nonprofit to be represented this year. We are using the opportunity to raise awareness about the needs of elders in our communities, and the tremendous opportunities for community building and service to others through the arts, as well as the needs of caregivers and the health and wellness benefits of arts engagement.
Thank you for coming to TN and sharing what you do, Jennie!
