I Have A Dream
57 years ago (August 28, 1963), Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered one of the most iconic speeches in American history. Dr. King’s “I Have Dream” speech was a defining moment of the civil rights movement. It continues to inspire generations of activists and justice seekers to continue the fight for civil and economic rights and an end to racism.
Dr. King’s speech rings ever true today and continues to guide our work at MCCA. As we remember Dr. King's speech and his life’s work, our board of directors came together to honor his memory by sharing his powerful words in hopes that these unforgettable truths would continue to challenge, inspire, and create progress today. We invite you to join us as we #RiseUnited and Activate Change Together!
The MCCA was founded in 1997 to advance the hiring, retention and promotion of diverse lawyers in law departments and law firms by providing research, best practices, professional development and training; and through pipeline initiatives.
MCCA's vision is to make the next generation of legal leaders as diverse as the world we live in.
