Mandating body-worn cameras, after spending $30.9 million, means little if ICE leaders only release footage they like.

Real transparency and accountability can’t depend on whether the video makes the agency look good. That defeats the entire purpose.

ICE said this week it now has enough body cameras for all of its officers and agents and expects to complete training soon.
