We are thrilled to begin working with the outstanding winning teams for the 2nd EmPOWER Air Data Challenge:

1.) Hourly Average Emissions Factors for eGRID: led by @ucdavisenergy, the team will create a database of hourly average eGRID emissions factors and analyze how hourly emissions factors impact GHG inventory calculations.

2.) An accessible education tool presenting 20 years of monthly source impacts: led by @GMU_CEIE, the team will use emissions and CASTNET data to assess and visualize the health benefits of control installations and shutdowns at coal-fired power plants.

CAMD is looking for researchers and students to more practically use the wealth of power sector data knowledge that CAMD has. For those that use CAMD's data, they will discuss conclusions or questions with CAMD staff to better understand and analyze data.
