As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, Ebenezer will continue our outreach efforts this Sun., Nov 21, distributing 1000 $50 grocery gift cards to those in our community in need. The gift cards, supported by the giving of Ebenezer AME Church and its members, to local grocery stores will help families in providing food for their Thanksgiving meals. The giveaway starts at 9:30 a.m. on the grounds of Ebenezer. Please remain in your cars when arriving to the church. ​One card per car please.

⭐️Affordable Housing Spotlight • 1164 Bladensburg Apartments

This project in Washington, D.C.’s Trinidad neighborhood was completed during Fiscal Year 2019 and serves Ward 5 seniors. There are 65 apartment homes in this 100 percent affordable community. All units are reserved for seniors age 55 and older; 52 units are reserved for seniors earning up to 50 percent of the area median income (AMI) and the remaining 13 are reserved for those earning up to 30 percent AMI.
