Donald Trump packed the Supreme Court with justices he could count on to strike down the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Today, in the midst of a global pandemic when health care is needed most, we are watching to see if Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch deliver the goods to the outgoing President.

Women and the most vulnerable in our society know what’s at stake today. The repeal lawsuit, supported by the Trump administration, will be heard by the Supreme Court in California v. Texas and could end ACA as we know it.

Today’s victory for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris was fueled by the commitment and resolve of millions of feminists who voted in record numbers. Our vote is our voice—and we used it in this election to make history.

After four long years, we will finally put feminist champions back in the White House. Vice President–Elect Kamala Harris “stands on the shoulders” of the giants who came before her to make history and for the first time ever, we will have a woman of color serving as the president’s most trusted advisor.

Kamala Harris, as first woman elected VP, says she 'won't be the last'

"While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last," Harris said. "Because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities."

Our Vote is Our Voice

In response to election coverage, I issued this statement —headlined, “Democracy Demands That We Count Every Vote.” As we watch our democracy in action this week, I want to encourage you all to stay confident that we will make sure every vote is counted.

More Americans voted in this election than in the last 100 years. This is historic and reason enough for every vote to be counted.

This election is also much more than choosing our next president and vice president - in states, cities and counties across the country, people voted for representation and equity. We cannot ignore that cultural and systemic change can happen where we live - from judgeships to town clerks to county boards and commissions, our votes determine our future.

Hi folks. While I'm glad Biden won, I'm concerned about his stance on gender issues. Specifically Self-ID and the dismantling of Title IX. What can we do to fight back against this?

Are you aware one of the biggest barriers to education is property damage or broken belongings? Many lower to middle class families have been screwed out of 'computer ownership'. These tolerate a HUGE amount of trespassings and property damage. Worse, the police policy is to REFUSE to take a police report or investigate even trespassing situations in which the vandal was seen leaving. Camera systems may be ruined as well and irrecoverable at a reasonable expense. Even reports of a wallet taken from an unoccupied home during a jog or walk can be disregarded by police. Eventually, the psychiatric intervention police officer is asked to stop by the house to see if the resident is on disability pay for a non-visible cause and officer will proceed with a psychiatric hold at the victim's expense which can last for months even acting fine. Many times, the police even know who engages in trespassing and refuse to act. Current 'stalking' laws are unusable for most plaintiffs and it is Discount Legal's policy to refuse service to most plaintiffs. Laptops are a frequent target of theft in rentals or housing and police may not even respect the owner by issuing a valid police report. Now, when we need the home computers the most, we feel the extra pinch of corruption. In these times of Black Lives Matter, think about what you can do to police your own neighborhood and influence your politicians to replace dysfunctional policing situations. These situations are really common to target homes in which a single mom or female lives alone. Currently, Kansas ACLU has no interest in the matter. #janecrowlaws

Still, the abuse continues by mental care and the community. YOU SO ARE SO SPECIAL WITH """I VOTED"""!!! Electoral college voted.
