I'm proud to see the Chris Allen Multiemployer Pension Recapitalization and Reform Act introduced. Chris was my tax policy aide, and I know he is up there beaming that policy he worked so hard on now bears his name.

Thank you Senator Chuck Grassley and Senator Lamar Alexander for introducing this bill, which aims to avert the collapse of critically underfunded multiemployer pension plans and reform rules for these plans to prevent future funding shortfalls within these important pillars of the American retirement system.

UPDATE: The bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act Conference Report has overwhelmingly passed the Senate. I'm proud to vote for it.

As the senior Marine in Congress, I'm proud the Senate put politics aside on behalf of national security and passed the FY2021 NDAA. The number one issue we must always address in Congress is ensuring the passage of a bi-partisan, comprehensive defense bill. https://www.roberts.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2020/7/senator-roberts-statement-on-senate-passage-of-fy2021-national-defense-spending

Sen. Roberts' Final Senate Speech - Dec. 10, 2020

In my final speech, I urge my colleagues to rebuild the bridges of comity. Right now, the entire country could use a little bit of what we say in Kansas, ‘Ad astra per aspera’ – to the stars through difficulties.

Franki and I are deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Barry Flinchbaugh’s passing earlier today. Dr. Flinchbaugh was nothing short of a legend in his field. His expertise made him one of the most coveted and trusted advisors for agricultural policy for decades. Dr. Flinchbaugh’s legacy as an educator and advocate will live on through his work at Kansas State University and his lifetime of dedication to agriculture. I will not only miss his guidance, but I will also miss his friendship, wit and humor. I have many special memories of Barry, in particular our times together on the “Pat and Dan Show,” where he moderated lively discussions between former Congressman Dan Glickman, our state agriculture groups and myself. Our prayers are with the Flinchbaugh family during this difficult time.

He is talking with a lunatic lawyer and disgraced general about martial law to overturn a legitimate election. And you're not demanding he stop?! Are you as mentally deranged as he is? In any case, you will be remembered in history books as a traitor to American democracy.
Senator Roberts, if you haven’t retired quite yet, please stand up on January 6th and object to the elector slate for Georgia, Pennsylavania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Nevada as there are too many questions on election fraud. Laws changed without the State Legislature to aid making it easier to cheat. Software that was possibly manipulated and poll watchers that were kept far enough away from the ballot checkers that they couldn’t verify anything. It is all suspicious. I have heard you are not a big fan of President Trump but this is more important than a mere personality conflict. This is standing up for our country to keep it from going down the path of socialism and decline. We won’t forget your support.
Dear Senator: I request you exercise your Constitutional and statutory authority to object to the certification of any elector from any state that refuses to allow a meaningful audit of the November general election for electors to the Presidency We the people decide who is our President not China, Russia or Iran. Please join with Mo Brooks from the House in objection to these electoral votes on Jan 6, 2021. This is a time in our history that if we the people do not act to protect our right to vote then we will lose all our liberties given to us by the Constitution and Bill of Rights. California votes are 100% invalid
Senator Roberts. I am a first-time voter since moving to America years ago. As we all know, the last presidential election was loaded with fraud and stollen. I strongly believe President Trump won and expect you to speak up January 6th on our behalf. It is time to stand up for the people you represent. We are all watching our local leaders. I know you are retiring, but do it with integrity. Please do the right thing. We need your help.
Trumpet Trumpet SENATORS IN THE Republican Party NEED TO GROW A SPINE. WE WON THIS ELECTION...THERE WILL BE NO USA IN 4 YEARS. BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS CHEATED. STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY!!!
Dear Senator, I request you exercise your Constitutional and statutory authority to object to the certification of any elector from any state that refuses to allow a meaningful audit of the November general election for electors to the Presidency, which must include: 1) a re-canvass of the vote that authorizes independent confirmation of a signature match using the same standards the same election officials use for nomination petitions, recall petitions, and initiative petitions; 2) publishing of the ballots for the world to review and observe, as states promised when they wrote large taxpayer checks to election machine companies like Dominion and others; and 3) audited review of the voter rolls to insure only qualified voters cast ballots for electors to the Presidency. If a state refuses to allow an honest audit of the vote, then I request you object to the certification of any electors from that state which has refused such an audit. At present, this includes the electors from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. There is reason for my concern. The state legislatures in the respective states chose a method for choosing electors to the Presidency that cabined who qualified to vote, constricted the manner in which a vote could be cast, and circumscribed how the vote could be counted. Many of the restrictions and requirements for each of those three were not followed by several of the states in question. President Carter warned in 2005 that absentee ballots posed the greatest risk of fraud. The New York Times agreed in 2012 that absentee ballots posed the greatest risk of fraud. Jurists, experts, and election officials all concurred that mass mail-in balloting posed the greatest risk of fraud. We just had the biggest absentee-ballot driven election in American history. Yet, the very safety guardrails of this election were systemically and systematically removed, often without the assent or consent of the state legislatures, despite the express promise and explicit protection of the Electors Clause to the Constitution. Midnight counts outside the meaningful observation of poll-watchers. 11% signature mismatches according to the Democratic expert in the election contest in Arizona. Votes from dead people, non-citizens, and non-residents found in the research of Matt Braynard and Richard Baris. Is it really too much to ask that states publish the ballots they promised to publish? Is it really too much to ask that states allow an independently confirmed signature match, at least to a statistically significant sample, of the absentee ballots? Is it really too much to ask for the states to affirm that only those qualified to vote cast ballots for the Presidency? The Supreme Court directed any remedy to you, and Congress, when it declined to hear the case brought by the state of Texas, a suit joined by the Attorneys General for 18 states representing more than 100 million Americans, 126 members of Congress, high ranking state legislators from the objectionable elections of the states at issue, and public interest advocacy groups representing millions of Americans. I ask that you do me the small favor of simply objecting to electors under the circumstances herein described. At a minimum, it can give confidence to me, and more than 74 million Americans who voted for President Trump, that our concerns about this election were taken seriously and meaningfully addressed in the only place the courts have directed remedy can occur: the halls of Congress. The Constitutional conscience of the country depends upon the choices you make. Many thanks for your kind attention to these critical concerns. Thank You, Jerod Kasunic Kansas resident
Challenge the electoral votes when counted! Our Constitution is at stake, and the very structure of our Government. There are numerous questionable activities, hundreds of testimonials, and now, more and more, statisticians who are analyzing data and identifying discrepancies that show astronomical probabilities in numbers we are told to believe as "fact". But in this election, numeric “facts” do not represent the truth. Numbers don't always speak for themselves; many have stories behind them. Listen and learn from the analyses being shared. There is tremendous meaning in their message! This is not about Trump vs. Biden, although many will make it out to be because that is the easy cop out to not take action. No one wants to "disenfranchise" people. It is NOT disenfranchisement if there is questionable activity that does not allow for a clear line of sight to the winner! This is about the fabric of our country being ripped apart by those who want to change our country, take away our freedom and control the masses. This is about power and greed. This is about corruption and a swamp that wants to go back to being unexposed, or worse, destroy our democracy so it doesn’t matter what they do! For many, it almost seems impossible or unreal to imagine the insanity a small group of people could levy on the American people. But it is not impossible and it is happening... on a daily basis. The American people are tired of no accountability for those who take advantage of their positions We are tired of hearing about new policies and legislation. Now is NOT the time to put more layers of bureaucracy on the situation. Now is the time to step boldly on January 6! Have the courage & conviction to do what is right! So few have demonstrated that at a time when it is desperately needed. Even the Supreme Court shirked its responsibilities. Don’t avoid yours! If you, and others do not question the integrity of the election results based on all that has come to light , you will be no different than the people who seek the power, who harbor the greed and who hide the truth in darkness. Don’t go there.
How about being a man and congratulate President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris on their election victory?
Thank you for your service and standing up for the people of Kansas. Please stand up one more time for the people of America against the current leadership's blast on democracy.
There shouldn't be passage of the defense bill until the passage of another Care Bill .. how about caring about US .. instead of the military industrial complex / that Pres Eisenhower warned us about? We need new senators / representatives w/brains and heart .. not these republicans who follow / obey a failed TV reality game show host .. good grief ..
