Good Evening All. Langston Community will be giving Turkey Baskets out on Friday, November 16, 2018 starting at 6:30pm. We will also have dinner prepared by Master Chef Gio. You know the routine, no food is to be taken out. Last sign up to get a turkey basket is November 13th at 3:30pm.

Langstons 80th anniversary is getting closer also we will have our annual Langston Day is around the corner. Will be a big day. Come out and join us. Langston Dwelling, 667 24th Street. NE
Washington, DC. 10am to 5pm. Food, fun and entertainment. G Street and 24th Street will be blocked off. Meaning cars must be moved. Vendors will be on board, so bring your dollars.

Langston community has been chosen to have a beautification day November 11th, 2017 from 9am to 5 pm. Come out and volunteer for this event. Food and fun. Also, Langston is getting a new facility on the property. It has taken Ms. Hardesty and the Council years of hard work to get this to happen after years of not having a laundromat on properly. This will be an added facility to the community.

Hey Thanksgiving time 2017. Baskets will be given out November 17 at 6:30 pm. Dinner will be served during this time. In order to receive a basket, you must have signed up. We Will be signing up for the last time November 14 at 3 pm. You must be present to sign up. If you don't sign up, you cannot receive a basket.

The senior Christmas luncheon was a success. We had good food which was catered and we has the presence of Director Todman of DCHA and Ms. Hampton, Director of ORS join us.

Langston again had another successful event on November 18, 2016. Chef Danny and Chef Dominic brought there a game to the community. The food was great. Majestic Ryderz was in the house doing their thing. We appreciate all the volunteers for helping out. Special thanks to Doctor Presson for giving back to the community. Thank you to Ms. Jackie Coachman, and Ms Margaret Presson for all the hard work. We passed out Thanksgiving baskets and Turkeys. On Saturday we were at it a again passing out more baskets donated by former resident Curtis Chambers. Thank you Curtis. Thanks goes out our property manager Ms. Glenn for working to help get those baskets out. Much love.

November 18th, 2016, come out and enjoy with the Resident Council our Thanksgiving dinner at 6:30pm. Meet our new chef. As always, no plates will be taken out. We will have special guest of the Council to join. Otherwise only for Langston Residents.. Bring your ID with the correct address, You will be turned away.

Well, Langston Resident Council is at it again. November 18th, 2016 will be having a community Thanksgiving dinner for the residents to enjoy. Residents only and special guest of the council is invited. Pass this on to other residents and come and meet our new chef. As always no plates will be taken out.

Today we sign up some residents for the Thanksgiving turkey baskets. My sincere thanks goes out to Ms. Pat Cave and Ms. Pat Forbes in taking there time to assist me in getting residents signed up.

Langston will be hiring for jobs for the power plant. Check with the Resident Council or the property management office for more information. We are looking to hire for an administrative position for November 1, 2016. This positions will be for Langston having first priority. You must be qualified for the position.

Langston Resident Council had a very good and outstanding meeting on last night. Kingman park association was in attendance speaking about making this community historical. Langston is , but he was referring to the entire area here. This district. Mr. Brown from DCHA informed Langston that money has been received from HUD for our hearing and air conditioning upgrades.. Very informative meeting.
