The Tribal Resource Tool is a repository of services for American Indian/Alaskan Native victims and survivors:
✔️of all ages
✔️of all forms of victimization
✔️at all locations (on or off reservations, in areas that are remote, rural, urban, or suburban)
✔️for all needs of victims, including justice, safety, healing, and support

U.S. Attorneys of the Northern District of Oklahoma and the Eastern District of Oklahoma launched a pilot project to implement a Tribal Community Response Plan with Muscogee (Creek) Nation and Cherokee Nation.
The goal for the Tribal Community Response Plan pilot project is to establish a collaborative response from tribal governments, law enforcement agencies, and other partners by implementing culturally appropriate guidelines when investigating emergent cases of missing and murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives.
Each plan will be composed of guidelines addressing at least four different areas in response to MMIP cases: law enforcement, victim services, community outreach and media/public communications. We're excited to learn that Native INC, a sister organization of the Native American Development Center, will receive just under $300,000 a year over the next three years. These funds will be used to integrate cultural services starting in the Bismarck metropolitan area and throughout North Dakota. There will be services like transportation, finding resources, supplies for cultural programs, and rent for a community center
Loraine Davis, CEO of The Native American Development Center, who says this is a huge win for the Indigenous community. Davis says “We want to be able to recognize the uniqueness of every tribe and bring everybody together and consolidate a lot of our cultural values.”
