recruitDC is proud to announce the return of the Derek Zeller Memorial Scholarship. This initiative provides unemployed recruiters with complimentary access to the 2026 recruitDC conference scheduled for Monday, October 5th.

About Derek Zeller
Derek Zeller was a beloved sourcer and writer, deeply impacting the recruitDC community. Remembered as a dedicated mentor and friend to many in our community, Derek had a commitment to helping others. Although he passed away in 2021, his legacy of kindness and professional mentorship continues to inspire us.

About the Scholarship
Designed by recruiters for recruiters, this scholarship honors Derek’s memory by removing financial barriers to professional development. Recipients will join industry peers for a day of networking and growth at the recruitDC conference.
