Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA) The Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA) is the national trade association for U.S. shipbuilders, ship repairers, and shipyard suppliers. Founded in 1920.

SCA was established in 1920 as the trade association dedicated to representing the interests of the U.S. shipbuilding and ship repair industry. SCA members build, repair and service America’s fleet of government and commercial vessels.
