2020 Executive Forum Update

In light of ongoing developments resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19), and out of an abundance of caution, the FEIAA Board of Directors have decided to cancel the Executive Forum previously scheduled for May 19, 2020.

FEIAA has been closely monitoring the mandates of health experts and local authorities, while preparing for any possible developments without taking premature or unnecessary measures. However, our number one priority is the safety and security of our beloved members, which is why we are canceling the face-to-face event.

We thank each of you who have registered. Our immediate goal is to finalize specific details about refund options. Once in place, we will be back in touch promptly.

We are currently working with our Executive Forum partners and speakers to plan our next Executive Forum for May 2021.

Throwback Thursday - Hope to see you at the 2020 Executive Forum on May 19th!

We bring in top notch speakers who address relevant issues in leadership and public administration, and through our partnership with Hooks Books, are able to provide our participants with a book or two from the authors. And it’s a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends from the public service community, and to meet new people as well. All provided in a comfortable and convenient setting!”

Make sure you catch us on FEDTalk radio this Friday!

Fitting in Leadership Development to Busy Schedules

Even though senior leaders know they need to keep their skills sharp through continued development opportunities, finding the time, let alone the budget, for training and development is a constant challenge. This week on FEDtalk, host Tony Vergnetti explores different methods and opportunities for just in time training and the types of skills that leaders can explore through these opportunities. He’ll be joined in studio by Debra Schweikert, the newly elected President of the Federal Executive Institute Alumni Association (FEIAA), newly elected Vice President Abe Brown and Jonathan Herman, an FEIAA Board Member, to talk about FEIAA’s upcoming Executive Forum. He’ll also spend time talking about leadership development more broadly with Jenny Mattingley, former Director of the White House Leadership Development Program (WHLDP).
