Innovation Policy Internship Program

Bonjour!

The Cultural Services | French Embassy in the US are happy to launch the new edition of the Innovation Policy Internship Program. This 8-week internship program in #France is designed to inspire a new generation of students committed to promoting innovation and change in the public sector.

This year, the program will take place in #Toulouse and #Strasbourg from June 1 to July 25, 2020.

Eligibility
- The program is open to the following American partner universities: Brown University; Columbia University; Cornell University; Dartmouth College; Duke University; Georgetown University; George Washington University; Harvard University; Johns Hopkins University; Louisiana State University; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; New York University; Northwestern University; Princeton University; Texas A&M; Tufts University; University of California Los Angeles; University of Florida; University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign; University of Southern California; University of Texas at Austin; University of Wisconsin at Madison; Webster University; Yale University.
- Undergraduate, graduate and PhD students are eligible to apply.

- Toulouse: Federal University of Toulouse, City of Toulouse, Occitanie Regional Council, Groupe Dépêche Foundation, Occitanie Data, University Hospital Center of Toulouse
- Strasbourg: European Ombudsman, Diplomatic Mission of the Prefecture of the Grand-Est Region, City of Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin Deparmental Council, Rhin National Opera, University of Strasbourg

After a great Hackathon with plenty of inspiring ideas, students have officially started their internship! For the next six weeks, students from both sides of the Atlantic will collaborate on projects in the French public sector to promote innovation and change in the following institutions:

Students of Toulouse, bonjour !

For those who would like to improve their French during the duration of the program, we would like to let you know about the English/French Conversation Club of Jardin Culturel in #Toulouse.

French conversation sessions are happening every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 9pm in the city center of Toulouse. All levels are welcome!

The conversation sessions (limited to 12 people per session) are 100% spoken, though you may wish to make some notes. What you get is two hours of conversation practice on a wide range of subjects chosen by you or by the French-speaking teacher.

The Conversation Card costs €30 and includes 5 sessions + 1 free.

We encourage you to attend a first free conversation session. If you like it, you will be able to buy the Conversation Card on site. More info here: https://jardinculturel.com/courses/conversations.
