The 143rd General Conference & Exhibition has been rescheduled for Aug. 27 to 30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is two weeks earlier than the initially planned conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Most meetings and the industry exhibition will be held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, a 120-acre destination resort on the famous Las Vegas Strip near McCarran International Airport. Mandalay Bay has the fifth largest convention center in the United States, with 2.1 million gross square feet of meeting and exhibit space.

NGAUS and the Nevada National Guard expect to be able to provide in Las Vegas the conference experience that members and guests deserve and have come to expect. Please contact, [email protected].

You will find different statuses when processing, i.e. newly commissioned officers, renewals, retirees, annual or lifetime memberships.

Our members now have control over their profile and can change their ranks, addresses or any other information. Please include your personal email, this is very important. This data can be used for upcoming conferences.

If you are joining NGAUS for the first time, it is as easy as pushing the button.

Assess Instructions - Once on the website, go to the far right and select JOIN (Win IPAD Mini 2) , select below from the drop menu individual membership, to Getting Started, indicate your status and District of Columbia as your state. It is relatively easy. Please include your personal email address, this helps us to populate for upcoming conferences.

The 138th General Conference of the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) will be held in Baltimore, Maryland September 9-13, 2016. Golf Tournament, 9/11 Run, advance meetings, etc. Our conference hotel is the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel, which is located directly across from Harbor and Convention Center. The room reservations are “first come, first serve”. The first submission due to NGAUS is July 15, 2016 to reserve rooms; however, the last submission date is August 3, 2016.

2. Business sessions will be conducted in the Baltimore Convention Center. NGAUS Golf Tournament, Motorcycle Rally to Gettysburg, TAG Reception and Company Grade/Warrant Officers’ Mixer begins Friday, September 9, 2016. To participate in the open Golf Tournament, you must arrive on Thursday. The first business session begins September 10, at 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm; however, some key meetings are scheduled for Friday morning (i.e. Resolutions, etc.). The Governor’s Reception is September 10, 2016. The second business session and Hospitality Night is Sunday, September 11, 2016. The business session begins is from 08:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The Army and Air Separate sessions begin on Monday, September 12, 2016 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and the third and final business session starts at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. The States’ Dinner is later that evening, which is the final closing event of the conference.

We have a special treat for that evening, more to come. Saturday night is the Masquerade Ball with contests, door prizes and raffles. We are also planning a 6K run/walk prior to Sunday's Brunch. Our Hospitality Room will be available throughout the conference after each evening event. There is a nearby golf course, if you come early Friday for your enjoyment. Please indicate on the form for planning purposes.
