WASHINGTON (December 14, 2020) – A recent national survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) shows that nearly two-thirds (69%) of Americans will not travel for Christmas.

During COIVD-19, Alejandra’s property was short staffed during Hurricane Laura. She independently returned 230 rooms back to inventory to provide accommodations for first responders. Alejandra checks on staff who have been furloughed and keeps the HR department updated on how her teammates are doing. Her attention to detail, caring demeanor, and dedication to her colleagues and community is evident in everything she does for those around her and makes her this week’s Hotel Hero.

As General Manager, Brian has continually supplied the greater Longwood medical area of Boston with shelter and food throughout the pandemic and encouraged his team to support the local nurses and doctors working on cancer research.
Brian has hand-delivered more than 200 meals to five teaching hospitals affiliated with Harvard Medical School and diligently partnered with pharmaceutical suppliers in the region to obtain additional PPE for this team. Each day he personally checks the temperature of each team member and ensures PPE is available for all staff.
