The Army Nurse Corps Association

The Army Nurse Corps Association ANCA's voluntary membership consists of Army nurses who are Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard, whether currently serving, previously served, or retired.

The Army Nurse Corps Association (ANCA) is an organization dedicated to the Army Nurse Corps and its officers. We are a voluntary membership organization consisting of Army nurses who are Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard, whether currently serving, previously served, or retired. All members have voting rights and any member may hold elective office in accordance with established criteria. A

ll members are welcome to serve in other volunteer capacities and on the various committees of the organization. All are encouraged to support fellow officers. In 1976, a group of retired Army Nurse Corps officers met in San Antonio and expressed a desire to continue the camaraderie and close ties of Army nurses and establish a means of communication by, for, and about Army nurses. The Retired Army Nurse Corps Association (RANCA) was officially formed in 1977. In 2000, the organization's bylaws were amended to incorporate all active ANC components in addition to retired as eligible for membership, and the name was changed to the Army Nurse Corps Association to reflect that change in composition. ANCA is a 501(c)19 nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Texas.

Happy Flag ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธDay!
Happy Birthday US Army!!!๐Ÿซก

Two anniversaries. One enduring commitment.

As America commemorates 250 years of independence and the U.S. Army celebrates 251 years of service to the Nation, we honor the generations of Americans who have answered the call to serve.

For more than two centuries, the Nation and its Army have advanced together through every challenge and triumph. From the founding of America and the Continental Army to today's global force, their shared history is defined by duty, sacrifice, service, and strength.

For more than two centuries, Soldiers have stood ready to defend the ideals upon which our Nation was founded. As we honor our past, we also look to the future, committed to preserving the freedoms entrusted to us.

250 years of America.
251 years of the U.S. Army.
Winning, Preserving, and Celebrating Independence.
This We'll Defend!

Today, on Women Veterans Recognition Day, we honor the courageous women who have served and continue to serve in our nation's military. This day commemorates the signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act on June 12, 1948, which granted women the right to serve as permanent members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Unlike Veterans Day, which recognizes all veterans who have served our country, Women Veterans Recognition Day specifically highlights the contributions, sacrifices, and achievements of women veterans whose service has often gone unrecognized throughout history.
Today, we proudly celebrate the strength, resilience, and legacy of women who answered the call to serve. Thank you for your service and your enduring impact on our nation!๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

On June 6, 1944, more than 156,000 Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy during the historic D-Day invasion. Their courage, sacrifice and determination helped secure freedom for future generations.

Today, we remember the service members, medics, nurses and support personnel who answered the call on one of history's most pivotal days.

As we honor the heroes of D-Day, we remain committed to supporting those who continue to serve our nation and their Families.
