Let your reputation place you where your talents will be of most use. Titles or positions are meaningless if you are useless or self-serving. There are many factors that are beyond our control; living in the present is not one of them.

CARPE DIEM: At this very moment, we have the ability to control our actions and enhance our credibility and utility. Let the present results open the doors for future opportunities. Do that and you will never be concerned with bidding for assignments or positions. You will develop the confidence to know that you will give it your best any time, any place. You will be continuously sought after for tough positions that yield great results. Your purpose in life will be defined and fulfilled.

Seize the day. Show them what you are made of. Use today to erase the fouls of the past and to create a better future.

It’s Christmas time. A time to be grateful for all the good things experienced throughout the year and a time of reflection on those instances that required self-improvement. Out of the many gifts we receive, none can be more precious than freedom; the treasure that is “The American way of life.”

While we celebrate with those present, let us not forget about those who gave their lives for our freedom and the families that miss them not just during the holidays, but in every living moment. To all of our Gold Star families, Janet and I love you and think of you often. Since moving to DC, we often travel to Arlington to see old friends and pay our respects. We will never forget them and they will always be in our hearts, just like you.

Reflect on those who are with us in spirit and share a couple of those great memories with those who are with you today.

With much love and respect, CZ, Janet, and Mabel.

Bill of Rights Day

#OTD in 1791: The Bill of Rights was ratified.

These amendments to the Constitution sought to preserve our most fundamental rights and liberties as Americans. It is these same rights that our men & women in uniform have sworn an oath to protect & defend.

On the first #BillofRightsDay in 1952 President Harry Truman and Chief Justice Fred M. Vinson speak on the importance of the document during the unveiling ceremony at the US National Archives.

A promise made, a promise kept…

We make a promise to our Nation upon enlistment…

We make a promise to our spouses upon marriage…

We make a promise to our people when we accept the responsibilities of rank and position…

When we break promises we violate the trust of the Nation, we hurt our loved ones, and diminish our credibility as leaders. Promise keeping must be a habit for everyone who wants to make a difference. These promises often take just a few minutes of our day, others may be more time consuming. But regardless of how long they take, we must follow through. The actions you take today may inspire others to do the same in the future. Do the reverse and you may contribute to the multiplicity of self-servants.

Go back to your email, your to-do list, to your notebook and look for those unfulfilled promises and take action. Do right by someone today; do right everyday.

“It is easy to pick the real winner of the Army-Navy Football game: The people of the United States.”
-JFK

Despite unique challenges this year, yesterday’s Army-Navy game went off without a hitch. It’s an honor to attend this historic game, but an even greater honor to meet some of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy's future leaders from West Point - The U.S. Military Academy and United States Naval Academy. Congratulations to the Army on a great win.

What a great U.S. Army - U.S. Navy game and congratulations to West Point - The U.S. Military Academy! At the end of the day, though, we're all on the same Joint Force team serving our nation and defending our Constitution.

One year ago, on this very day, the Chairman swore me in as the first Airman ever to hold the position of SEAC and the second person ever to wear the new insignia and rank. On this day last year, I ceased to be an Air Force Chief and became a SEAC. Unknown to many, the insignia is an actual rank in the DoD and the term of address is “SEAC”, regardless of which service branch the member wearing it belongs to.

With 2020 coming to an end and 2021 quickly approaching, we are committed to the task and purpose of the position. We will continue to address the issues of the Total Force in order to improve the environment that our service members live in and ensure the readiness of our formations in the execution of war. I am your SEAC, I am here for you.

#SEAC4 #military The Joint Staff

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley on the one-year anniversary of the SEAC insignia and SEAC Ramón "CZ" Colón-López assuming his duties as SEAC 4:

“As our senior enlisted advisor, the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman serves as the key eyes and ears for our senior leadership for information pertaining to the readiness, health and welfare, and development of our enlisted Joint Force. Last year, I approved the establishment of a unique rank and insignia to differentiate this position and its duties and responsibilities on the Joint Staff and in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). A year ago, I swore in my new SEAC and first Airman to hold the position. Throughout my career, I have always relied upon the wise counsel and experience of my senior enlisted leaders-- Leaders like SEAC “CZ” Colón-López, who model integrity, character and competence. I am proud to have him on the team as SEAC 4.”

#Guard384: National Guard celebrates 384th Birthday

Happy 384th Birthday to The National Guard!

I salute the remarkable women and men of the National Guard and honor their steadfast commitment to our great Nation. In this year of unprecedented challenges, the National Guard has been resolute in answering our Nation’s call.

2020 is indeed the “Year of the Guard.”

From the COVID-19 response, to fighting wildfires and responding to other natural disasters, to strengthening our partnerships and alliances around the world, National Guard has never faltered. On this special birthday, I proudly recognize the women and men who strive to live by their motto: #AlwaysReadyAlwaysThere

12/12/2020

2020:

A challenging year, that forced us to self-reflect and adapt.

A difficult environment, that reminded us of the importance of being healthy.

A scarcity of resources, that brought out the worst in some and the best in others.

And the reality of nature also having a vote regarding our existence on this planet.

Those are just four lessons of the many we learned in 2020. But just like every other time America has been faced with adversity, we overcome and become stronger. 2021 will be just that, another chapter in the history of our great nation with Americans strengthened by hardship; Americans banding together to create a better future for our children; Americans willing to fight for freedom at any cost, as many of us continue to do.

This holiday season let us be grateful for all the people whom we love, for the liberties we enjoy as patriots of this great nation, and for a brighter future in 2021.

As your military force, we will not falter in the execution of our duties. As citizens, we will value the nation we have collectively created. Janet, Mabel and I are loyal Americans, a proud military family, and honored members of the greatest military ever assembled.

Here's to each of you, wishing you a prosperous, happy, and meaningful holiday and happy New Year.

I couldn't sleep last night, thinking that Trump would push the nuclear button! He is a danger to our country and the world! You have supported and encouraged his lying, bullying and inciting violence. You will have more to answer for if he continues... INVOKE THE 25TH NOW!!! PLEASE!!

Robert Kosasky is NOT responding. Michael SABB Inspector General of the United States Army in the Pentagon IS trained with psychotronic weaponry. Michael SABB suggested I contacted Robert Kosasky, even provided a number, to "release Barron Trump's school records." Can the military please communicate with law enforcement about technology, art, and psychotronic weaponry. Barron Trump has been missing for YEARS and is involved in his father's Hollywood pedophile ring. Most of the contact is through electronic means with psychotronic weaponry. Barron Trump is allowed to use psychotronic weaponry on adults and minors. He is HIGHLY abusive! There are only a few agents that are NOt passing their notes down accurately in the Secret Service and other agencies! Don Trump Sr.is a HUGE pedophile and practices incest. Don Trump Sr.'s family is a cult where everyone is expected to share! All the adults engage in pedophilia with their kids. They abuse artists NOBODY has ACCESS to suicide! This is the same pedophile ring Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington were trying to expose!! Please help me expose and arrest this evil Trump family Hollywood pedophile ring in the arts! They followed home staff and students from my previos workplaces and Saint Andrew's Episcopal in Maryland. They are extremely dangerous! This would clearly be illegal if the information was not accurate! The letter from Michael SABB is posted on my page.

Just a thought considering the DOD doesn’t plan on making SARS-COV2 vaccinations mandatory, have the Depts considered that countries we deploy to may very well mandate it for entry once available? If so, are our readiness agencies ready or will it cause another bottleneck in rotations our service members should brace for?
