Hello Job Seekers!
Wouldn't you like to end the summer off right with a job!? ADC Management Solutions in partnership with the District Department of Employment Services (DOES) is hosting the 3rd Annual #iWorkDC Job Fair on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Pryzbyla Center at Catholic University of America from 10:00AM-2:00PM.

#iWorkDC Job Fair is geared toward young adults in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area from the ages of 18-24, however all are welcome. There will be employers from all industries ready to conduct on-site interviews for full and part time positions in the areas of Administrative, Customer Service, Maintenance, Operations, Construction and more! Participants should have resumes ready and dress professionally.

No Resume? No problem! There will be a resume/soft skill workshop happening throughout the fair.

Here are some helpful tips to help you bring you’re A-Game!
• Dress Professionally and Be Ready to Impress!
• Bring 5-10 copies of your updates resume
• Make a list of questions that you would like to ask during the interview
• Research your interest and career options
• Practice interviewing skills and a firm handshake with family & friends

WE HAVE LIFT OFF! NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH!

We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new website! After months of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch on August 30, 2017. The new site launch is available at www.adc-ms.com.

Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors an easier way to learn about ADC Management Solutions’ services and solutions and also to allow the visitor to browse information based on their own choice. The new website is interactive and gives better access to About Us, Consulting, Staff Augmentation support, Qualifications and Expertise, Explore Career options, and Latest News web pages. Our current and prospective clients will find useful information about our services on the homepage of our website. The “Our Expertise” section will highlight the projects we have completed and outline the value created for each client as a result.

Amongst the new features, the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin to foster improved communication with our employees and clients. We have also added linkage to our HR Payroll Platform, Paycom, for easy employee portal access. We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, articles, blogs, newsletters, company announcements and client successes in the News section. The Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a locally funded initiative administered by the Department of Employment Services (DOES) that provides a targeted population of at risk District youth, ages 18-24, with the means to develop positive work habits, attitudes, and valuable job skills. Last year, ADC Management Solutions partnered with the District Department of General Services (DGS) in implementing a pilot initiative, the DC Emerging Leaders: WRAP Academy for approximately 150 youth, designed to enhance the participant experience through counseling, mentoring, and a weekly education and training component. On June 26th, as a kick-off to the program, we organized a celebrity panel including James Brown, NFL Sports Caster; Evens Charles, Frontier Development & Hospitality; Shiedha Williams, MUA, Hellooo Gorgeous; Darren Waller, Baltimore Raven’s Tight End; Chef Cheo Garabito, Professional Personal Chef; Alfred “Black Boo” Duncan, GoGo Band Musician/ Entrepreneur; Councilman Trayon White, Council of the District of Columbia Government, and was facilitated by DC's own Ms. Angie Ange of 93.9 WKYS! The panelists were asked to talk to participants about their success stories in hopes of motivating them to succeed and use the knowledge and skills learned through this experience to the best of their ability. DC Quick Path to Energy Program is an earn as you learn , 7 week program, and a direct solution to meeting the utility industry’s immediate need for skilled workers. An initiative by the DC Department of Employment Services, Workforce Investment Council, Pepco Holdings, and the University of the District of Columbia, our goal is to facilitate high-skill and high-wage employment through a series of workforce development and industry preparatory training sessions, academic refresh seminars, and workforce preparation.
