Thank You So Much TASS Team & FSCCC-DMV Team for our Joint Project @ 2020 Wreaths Across America Event on Saturday, 12/12/2020 at the Arlington National Cemetery!!! It was a very successful day unloading trucks for The Old Guard to lay wreaths and Family Pass Holder Day. Your efforts is greatly appreciated!

As the year wraps up and we approach the holidays, we wanted to extend our heartfelt and sincere thanks for your significant contributions and dedicated focus on continuing to enhance the volunteer services we provide. Your hard volunteer work is commendable, and it’s exciting to pause and reflect on our wonderful achievements as a “volunteer team” this year!

The COVID-19 pandemic has shed light on the inequities across many areas in our society including health care, research, policy, and essential community services. Although data that separates Pacific Islander numbers from the general population is limited, the states and counties that are reporting this data show Pacific Islanders are disproportionately affected by COVID-19—with some regions seeing rates of infection up to five times that of white people.

Pacific Islander individuals, families, and community members navigating the constantly changing environment amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Pacific Islander-serving organizations and other allies (e.g., researchers, educators, health and human services providers and caregivers, nonprofit organizations, policy and government agencies, funding organizations, and press/media) are also welcome and encouraged to join. Help us spread the word!!!

An amazing evening last night, 9/5 at the World Bank in honor of the rich, cultural diversity of ACCA members living and working in the United States! TASS joined the 50th Anniversary Celebration of King Kamehameha Lei Draping Ceremony yesterday, 6/9 at the US Capitol; we were honored! Every community, cultural group or ethnic group has its own values, beliefs and ways of living where cultural and language are inseparable; we build together, embrace our uniqueness and have every opportunity to succeed!
