Children need families. Families need community. Everyone can do something. We believe that every child in DC should have a permanent, safe, and loving home.

Our mission is to strengthen and stabilize families impacted by the foster care system in Washington, DC by mobilizing the Church to provide wraparound support.

Kin includes extended family and close friends that feel like family who step in to care for children while their parents can’t. As part of our mission to support kids and families impacted by the foster care system, DC127 serves kin caregivers in addition to traditional foster parents.

We had a blast at our 3rd Annual Summer Carnival! Kids and grown ups enjoyed classic carnival food, face painting, carnival games, and a bounce house! With so many volunteers keeping kids safe, caregivers were free to relax and connect, too.

Thank you to our church partners who volunteered and provided support Passion City Church DC, Union City Church, and Genesis Church. We couldn't have done it without you!
