S-110 still looking good and taking the Company to fires .
Engine Company 15 in Washington , D.C. is located in the SE quadrant of the city and Anacostia sectio (these streets are now 14th & V Sts. SE

Engine Co. 15 was founded on April 15,1898 at Washington & Pierce Sts. SE) E-15 went in service with a 1883 Clapp & Jones 450 GPM steam fire engine and a 1889 McDermott Brothers hose reel carriage. The address of this house would later be 1345 V St.

Congrats to Wagon Driver Macc Williams on his promotion to Sgt. ! Macc made this place better with his work ethic. He was always working on something to better the house. He spent countless hours updating the information book as well as other projects for 15 Engine. You will be missed Macc ! All our best on your next assignment.
After clearing two box alarms E15 backed into quarters. While backing in we had a little visitor waiting for candy all dressed up in his fireman costume. Moments later units from the 3rd and 2nd battalion was alerted. For a reported Structure in the area of Fendall Street & V Street Southeast. E15 arrived on scene provided an updated address with smoke showing from Side(1) Alpha and Fire showing from Side(3) Charlie. Excellent work by all companies E15 retuned home after overhaul.
During the early morning hours E15 and E25 reported to the training academy to swap out crews for annual training. E25 was placed back in service to provide excellent service and protect the 3rd Battalion. Around 0914 hours the Box Alarm was sounded for a reported Apartment on fire at 1300 Morris Road Southeast (Engine15 first due). Engine 25 first due arrived with smoke showing from side Alpha. The fire was quickly extinguished and overhaul was completed. And Two Technicians from E15 was covering E25 during the training. Excellent work by all units that responded on the Box Alarm.
Engine 15 runs 4th due to the 500 block of Raliegh St. SE.
At 0154hrs the Box Alarm was sounded for a reported house on fire at, 3970 1st Street S.W.
E25 arrived on scene with fire showing, E15 arrived and backed up E25. Units returned to service after extinguishment and overhaul.

Engine 15 #4 . 4th due to 3900 block of King Ave.
Engine 15 responded first due to 2400 block of MLK Jr. Ave. SE . Engine 15 arrived with fire showing and extinguished the same. Fire throughout storefront.
E15 dispatched (1st due) to 2401 MLK Ave S.E. E15 found fire showing from a corner convenient store and extinguished the same.
E15 4th due to 4100 Livingston Rd. SE

We would like to welcome, Stevie Betzaida Kelly to our Family. Born 0038 hours on 6/29/23, 3 weeks early at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Baby is healthy and home with her parents in Stevensville.
Yesterday was Lt. Tony White last tour with his team and band on E15 platoon #3. As he mentally prepare and transition to his next chapter of his career as a Captain. will miss you and always be home.
In the area of, Cypress Street and MLK Jr Ave, Southeast. Units from the 3rd Battalion arrived to a vacant house on fire.
00:52 hours E15,R3,BC3, was alerted for a house on fire. Behind the firehouse in the 2100 - Blk of 13th Street, Southeast. E15 arrived on scene with fire showing from Side Charlie with extension to exposures. Fire was knocked by E15 and responding units. E15 returned to service after overhaul.

Working Fire #2 for platoon #2 3400 Block of N Street Southeast. E15 responded second due.

Engine Company 15 celebrated 125 years in service on April 14th and 15th 2023. Thanks to all current and past members who came out for both days of events.

It’s been busy for E-15 if you missed some of the recents photos. Here’s a recap of some of the incidents that we responded on the two weeks.
At 1606 hours on platoon #2 the Box Alarm was sounded for a reported structure on fire. At 215 13th Street, Southeast. E15 arrived on scene and requested first due with smoke showing. E15 located a fire in the English Style Basement. E15 extinguished all fire and assisted with overhaul. E15 was released and returned to service.

With the Anniversary coming up members been working hard fixing and upgrading the Firehouse.
3/31/23 around 2010 hours E-15 was alerted for a first due Structure fire at 1659 W Street Southeast. E-15 arrived on scene with smoke showing from the 1st and 2nd floor. E-15 located a fire in apartment 102. Fire was extinguished E-15 returned to service after overhaul.
Beautiful morning in Anacostia sent us some brand new ladder wraps and stickers for our tools and appliances.
