Mobile Government Conference

Mobile Government Conference The Mobile Government Conference will discuss how the public sector can take advantage of mobile technology to develop compelling mobile solutions.

Smart phones and tablets offer a new way for agencies to communicate with citizens, and will likely become a common method for conducting the business of government. Advanced mobility has enormous savings potential, always appealing in a tough budget environment. Still, allowing these mobile devices into the enterprise presents challenges in areas such as the mobile ecosystem, security, IT infrastructure, and human capital and workforce management. The Mobile Government Conference explores the opportunities and considerations of implementing secure mobile applications and programs enterprise-wide and provides education on how agencies can implement innovation and provide services more securely, efficiently, quickly, and at a lower cost. Topics covered in the conference program include but are not limited to: planning, security policy definition, enforcement and compliance monitoring, mobile device management, inventory management, security management, budget and controls, and secure mobile application development.
