August 11 Primary -- Early In Person Voting – Early in-person voting started last week and runs every day through this Friday, August 7. You can vote at your designated municipal office during regular business hours. For those of you in more rural areas, please contact your local clerk in advance to determine when their office will be open. The Kewaunee County Republican Party held a very nice meet and greet event for all 4 GOP State Senate candidates running to replace retiring State Senator Andre Jacque. In alphabetical order, the 4 candidates are Katie Baney, Barb Bittner, Nic Cravillion, Jacob VandenPlas. Our event was held at the Algoma Boat Club and all candidates spent time personally talking to the attendees, in addition to each of them speaking to the audience. The primary election is August 11 and early in person voting starts this coming week. Do you know who you’re voting for? Time to do your homework if you haven’t already and I know all 4 candidates would be happy to talk to you if you reach out to them.
