Help name 4300 12th Street SE! (Final)

Hello Great Eight,

The Department of Human Services (DHS), in partnership with the Department of General Services (DGS), is building a Permanent Supportive Housing program at 4300 12th Street, SE. In the short-term, this site will serve as emergency shelter capacity for families beginning in Spring 2019.

At the suggestion of neighbors, DHS is working collaboratively with the community to name the building! Earlier this year, community members submitted name suggestions. DHS selected its top three choices and through January 30, DHS is asking residents to vote to select the building's name.

The choices are: (1) Aspire (2) The Vision and (3) The W.J. Rolark Building. For more information about these choices and to vote visit: http://bit.ly/430012thStreet. Voting closes on January 30, 2019.

Please share widely and thank you for your participation!

Best,
Ward Eight (8) MOCRS

Good afternoon! Can someone help me with a resource that is supposed to assist people who have tested positive for Covid-19 to be able to quarantine in a hotel room away from their families provided by (Paid for) the City. I keep hearing about this but cannot locate any assistance. Is this even a thing?
