Congresswoman King Hinds Invites Community to Attend “From the Hill to the Vill: Community Conversations” Events
Saipan For a second year in a row, Congresswoman Kimberlyn King Hinds invites residents across the Commonwealth to her annual “From the Hill to the Vill: Community Conversations” town hall series, providing a space for constituents to engage with their congressional representative following her first term in Congress.
Following the aftermath of Super Typhoons Sinlaku and Bavi, Congresswoman King Hinds sees these events as an opportunity to discuss typhoon recovery and strengthening disaster response.
“We learned many lessons following the typhoons. This is the time to come together, learn from each other, and continue improving how we respond and recover.”
“I also want these events to be a space for people to come together and share their experiences, concerns, and even ideas,” said Congresswoman King Hinds. “I know people are still recovering, so I’m eager to hear what they have to say and advocate for them in Congress.”
Congresswoman King Hinds will be in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota to lead conversations and meaningfully engage with community members. All are welcome and encouraged to attend and share their concerns, ideas, and feedback.
