Are you 50 years-old or over? Join Seasoned Seniors at DCDPR's Ft. Stanton Recreation Center in Washington, DC's Historic Anacostia. Using a holistic approach, Mr.

Louis Jones, Jr., Facilitator of DC Department of Parks and Recreation's "Seasoned Seniors" at Ft. Stanton designed this comprehensive program using a holistic approach to encourage women and men 50+ years old to be physically, spiritually and emotionally fit. This is accomplished through recreational, educational, and social activities; including, exercising in their state-of-the-art fitness center, a Stretch & Walk Club, travel, arts & crafts classes, healthy-eating lectures & other educational / financial seminars, "Aging Gracefully" support group, Book Club, enjoying the Arts and tourist attractions that the National Capital is famous for --together. The normal annual fee for using the Ft. Stanton Recreation Center's Fitness Center is waived for Seasoned Senior members. Yep, as in FREE. Seasoned Seniors individual annual dues is ONLY $25. Say what? Yes, a bit over $2.00 per month; making it affordable even for those on a fixed income. Come on, now, you can't beat that with a stick.

We had a great day yesterday! Trip to Scrap B-More. When you are quilters and crafters you love finding deals everywhere and this spot is a treasure. Then lunch at G&M Restaurant. If you haven’t been, but love seafood or just good food, you won’t be disappointed at G&M.
