Thank you, President Donald J. Trump! 🇺🇸

Thank you, President Donald J. Trump!

President's Trump's leadership led to:

—pro-growth policies implemented in America.

—replaced the failed NAFTA with a new trade deal with Canada and Mexico (USMCA) - a fair and reciprocal trade agreement.

—securing America's borders.

—criminal justice reform.

—cut burdensome regulations to free up the economy.

—reducing the cost of pharmaceuticals including insulin for seniors and those in need.

—making hospital prices transparent.

—"peace through strength" that ushered in the historic Abraham Accords with four Arab Leage nations - UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco normalizing relations with Israel. Stability in the Middle East and the U.S. Embassy moved to Jerusalem, the capital of Israel.

—fast track of the coronavirus vaccine.

—economic recovery during the pandemic.

—a rule of law immigration policy based on merit.

—holding to account NATO members to pay their fair share in defending Europe.

—and much more.

Importantly, President Trump stood with fellow-Americans in upholding the U.S. Constitution - protecting life, liberty and private property.

Robert Unanue, CEO of Goya said, "We got the iceberg of communism ahead of us." During the interview with Charles Payne, GOYA CEO relayed the following statement: “All businesses are essential. If we close down the businesses, we close down the economy, we all die.”

In responding to crisis created by coronavirus the private company Goya donated four million pounds of food during the year 2020.
In a published article, Kayla Brantley from the DailyMail.com writes:

The Unanue family story is the epitome of the American Dream - a couple of Spanish immigrants start a business that grows to become the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States.

The Goya brand was founded in 1936 in Manhattan by Prudencio Unanue Ortiz, an immigrant from northern Spain who left at age 17 in 1903 for Puerto Rico in search of employment. He met his wife Carolina Casal, also a Spanish immigrant, and headed to the U.S. in 1918.

Three generations later and the company remains in family control with an estimated value of $3billion.

Pompeo Touts U.S.-India Defense Deal, With an Eye on China

The Wall Street Journal 🇺🇸🇮🇳 —

NEW DELHI—Increased U.S.-Indian military and strategic cooperation will help the two countries manage China’s growing influence in Asia, top U.S. diplomats said Tuesday.

“Our leaders and our citizens see with increasing clarity that the [Chinese Communist Party] is no friend to democracy, the rule of law, transparency, nor to freedom of navigation—the foundation of a free and open and prosperous Indo-Pacific,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters after the two countries signed a landmark defense agreement.

“We stand shoulder to shoulder in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific for all, particularly in light of increasing aggression and destabilizing activities by China,” Defense Secretary Mark Esper said.

The agreement will give India access to advanced American map and satellite imagery, enhancing the accuracy of automated weapons, drones and missiles. The pact is known as the Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement, or Beca.

Mr. Pompeo and Mr. Esper met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the importance of ties between the world’s oldest democracy and the world’s largest one and how they should cooperate more to battle Covid-19 and promote a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

Mr. Pompeo earlier Tuesday criticized China, saying U.S. and Indian officials were “cooperating on defeating the pandemic that originated in Wuhan, to confronting the Chinese Communist Party’s threats to security and freedom, to promoting peace and stability throughout the region.”

The Indian side appeared to avoid mentioning China by name, but Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India’s external-affairs minister, said the two sides “reiterated the importance of peace, stability and prosperity for all countries in this region.”

India fought a border clash with China earlier this year, and Mr. Jaishankar stressed the importance of respecting the “territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states.”

Mr. Pompeo and Mr. Esper laid wreaths at a war memorial in New Delhi to honor the sacrifice of Indian soldiers, including the 20 who lost their lives in a deadly clash with the Chinese troops in June this year.

“The United States will stand with the people of India they confront threats to their sovereignty and their liberty,” Mr. Pompeo said at a joint news conference with Indian officials, referring to the violent hand-to-hand clash between Indian and Chinese security forces.

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh invited American companies to take advantage of New Delhi’s liberalized foreign-direct investment framework to shift some of their production and global supply chains to India.

New Delhi has eased restrictions on foreign investment in many sectors this year including defense.

“We aspire to go beyond the buyer-seller approach to getting in partnership with the U.S. in defense and related industries,” Mr. Singh said.

American aviation and aerospace giants such as Boeing Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp. have been pursuing business interests in India’s defense sector. A couple of years ago, the Indian Air Force initiated the process of buying 110 jet fighters in a deal valued at over $15 billion. However, the plan has been put on hold due to adverse economic conditions and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s greater attempts to promote more local manufacturing.

Another historic agreement with Israel - as part of U.S. brokered deals!

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump announced Friday that Sudan will start to normalize ties with Israel, making it the third Arab state to do so as part of U.S.-brokered deals in the run-up to Election Day.

The announcement came after the North African nation agreed to put $335 million in an escrow account to be used to compensate American victims of terror attacks. The attacks include the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania by the al-Qaida network while its leader, Osama bin Laden, was living in Sudan. In exchange, Trump notified Congress on Friday of his intent to remove Sudan from the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism.

It was foreign policy achievement for Trump just 11 days before Election Day. Previously, the Trump administration engineered diplomatic pacts between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain — the first since Jordan recognized Israel in the 1990s and Egypt in the 1970s.

Trump said at least five other countries want to come into the deal, which is collectively called the Abraham Accords.

The new recognitions of Israel unify Arab nations around their common enemy, Iran. They also upend the traditional Arab strategy of refusing to normalize relations with Israel before an independent Palestinian state is created.

The US would also launch a dialogue on China with the European Union on Friday, Pompeo said, and that on Sunday he would begin a trip to India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Indonesia.

Pompeo said he expected the meetings would include discussions about how “free nations can work together to thwart threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party.“

The state department named the newly designated publications as the Yicai Global, Jiefang Daily, the Xinmin Evening News, Social Sciences in China Press, the Beijing Review, and the Economic Daily. It brought to 15 the number of Chinese media outlets listed in this way this year.

Video via C-SPAN | Opening Statement | Judge Amy Coney Barrett, Supreme Court Nominee | US Senate Confirmation.

"I chose to accept the nomination because I believe deeply in the rule of law and the place of the Supreme Court in our Nation. I believe Americans of all backgrounds deserve an independent Supreme Court that interprets our Constitution and laws as they are written. And I believe I can serve my country by playing that role." — Judge Amy Coney Barrett, October 12, 2020 | US Senate Confirmation - Supreme Court.

On the confirmation hearing for President Trump's Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, The Wall Street Journal reports:

Judge Barrett, speaking after nearly five hours of opening statements by the committee’s members, said that “courts are not designed to solve every problem or right every wrong in our public life. The policy decisions and value judgments of government must be made by the political branches elected by and accountable to the people.”
