Important Conference on Immigrant Rights – Register Now!

Dear Community Members,
In light of the current climate of uncertainty surrounding immigrant rights and targeted crackdowns on specific populations, we at the APPAC are taking proactive steps to support our community. We are pleased to announce that we are offering access to Urdu-speaking attorneys alongside New York State Speaker Ramos for an essential conference titled "Know Your Rights."
This is a vital opportunity for you to gain insights, ask questions, and learn about your rights from both a knowledgeable legislator and an attorney who specializes in immigrant issues.
I encourage everyone to register for this important event and take advantage of the chance to engage directly with our expert speakers. A special thank you to our moderators, APPAC Board Members Shahid Ali and Farris Fayyaz for their dedication to guiding our communities through these challenging times.

Stay informed, stay empowered, and let’s work together in advocating for our rights.

Message from the Chairman APPAC Dr. Ijaz Ahmad currently visiting Pakistan

Also visiting the Pakistan Caucus Chair Congressman Tom Suozzi and congressional members.

🌟 Feeling incredibly grateful for the warm hospitality of the United States Embassy in Pakistan at the recent reception! It was truly a pleasure to be part of such an enlightening gathering with the congressional delegation from the U.S., including Representatives Tom Suozzi, Jack Bergman, and Jonathan Jackson.
A heartfelt thank you to Tom Suozzi for chairing the caucus and leading initiatives that strengthen ties between our countries. His dedication to representing the Pakistani-American community is inspiring and the driving force behind bringing leaders and activists from across the nation together for this important cause.
It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with fellow community activists and political leaders committed to fostering better relations between Pakistan and the United States. The U.S. is facing a massive workforce shortage in the healthcare field across the board. That's why APPAC is working to address this through trained nurses and midwives in Pakistan that can address this gap here in the U.S.

WATCH: APPAC President Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal talks with VOSA TV - Voice of South Asia on how we're going to make this happen.

🌟 A huge admiration for the incredible work done by the APPAC Gala Host Committee! 🎉 You have truly outdone yourselves in organizing one of the largest galas in Long Island’s history of Pakistani Americans, with around 500 attendees enjoying a memorable evening filled with inspiration and camaraderie.

The atmosphere was electric as we all came together to learn about APPAC's mission, listen to our distinguished keynote speakers, and celebrate our community's efforts. We were honored to host two prominent Congress members, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Congressman Tom Suozzi, whose presence added to the evening's significance.

The entertainment was exceptional, featuring talented musicians from classical, modern, and pop genres, along with impressive performances from our youth showcasing their activities. A highlight of the night was the emphasis on women's empowerment, with several awards presented to deserving individuals.

A special thank you to Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal, the chair of the Gala Host Committee, for your leadership and dedication in making this event a resounding success. We also extend our gratitude to the Texas chapter for their support, and a big thanks to Naheed Bhatti for inviting youth, dignitaries, and Tom Suozzi.

Lastly, thank you to Dr. Sadia Tahir for your dedication and hard work in coordinating all the gala activities.

Congratulations to everyone involved for a truly unforgettable evening! 🎊❤️
