Last week, we joined our many Meals on Wheels Co-op Partners at the Meals on Wheels America Conference in Phoenix, AZ. We had a ton of fun celebrating them and meeting new folks. Our very own partner, Shauna Frost from Meals on Wheels New Mexico, won the Sister Alice Marie Quinn award. We were so thankful to be there to support her extraordinary efforts! Thank you all for such a great time!

“Wow. I just had the privilege of having Lynsey Gallagher dump about 10 gallons of water over my head, and I could not be more proud.” That was Tiffany Neill this past Wednesday “Soaking it up for ALS” on behalf of Lautman in the ALS CEO Soak of 2023.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed. Lautman—together with our friendly rival Production Solutions—raised over $10,000 to help make ALS a livable disease. The money being raised is going to work right away and the breakthroughs have been fast and furious. Calaneet Balas, the President of The ALS Association (who was also soaked at the event) said in her speech, “There are four treatments for ALS, two have been found in just the last year and that can be directly linked to fundraising.”

Check out Lautman's Book Club happenings...

Lautman's recently gathered for our annual book swap. Members bring their favorite book, wrapped and with a written description. Each person selects the book they are most drawn to and then lots of conversation and fun ensues.

There was a wide selection this year from Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow to Little Weird, to The Beauty of Dusk and The Honjin Murders.

For 2023, we're kicking things off a little differently. We're having a year-long book club dedicated to War and Peace! And for the month of January, our discussion will be on Min Jin Lee's Pachinko.

Is Finally Here!!!

This year marks the 10th anniversary of what is arguably one of the most important fundraising days of the year. Our teams have been hard at work preparing for this incredible celebration of generosity for most of our nonprofit partners. We wish everyone a successful return!

Many of our staff will also be supporting their favorite organizations today, and thanks to Lautman’s company match program, all their gifts will be doubled – making the donations go twice as far!

Thank you AgeWell Services of West Michigan for sharing the love of the holiday season with the many older adults in your area who are in need of your compassion and meals.

Lautman Account Manager, Christa, spent the day with our wonderful Co-op partners at Lubbock Meals on Wheels - LMOW - Lisa, Mary, and Ana. The day was full of inspiration, enthusiasm, and a bit of fun. From a building tour to watching the volunteers in action on the Friday meals pick up with a collaborative meeting, lunch, and a peek of the Texas Tech campus. Thank you, Lubbock Team, for hosting Christa, and we can't wait to see you all soon!

We are delighted to announce that Angela Thompson has joined our Lautman Coop team as our Project Manager, Coop! Angela comes to us with great experience, having managed virtual events for the Wounded Warrior Project in Florida as well as special events for the City of Chesapeake. Her family of four – her Navy husband, and their two daughters, Olivia, 7, and Raegan, 5, keep her very busy in her spare time!

We are thrilled to have Angela on board to help manage the fundraising campaigns for our meals on wheels clients.
