Yesterday, I was able to tour the progress being made on our brand new terminal at KCI—and it’s looking Kansas City pretty!
Very excited for Western Missourians to see the finished product next year!
If you save one life, you’re called a hero. If you save a thousand lives, you’re called a nurse.
Congratulations to the Research College of Nursing Class of 2021! It was truly an honor to speak at your commencement today.
Perhaps more so now than ever before, you are the stewards of hope.
Today, there will be a change of command ceremony and a ceremonial commissioning of the in San Diego, CA. Ships like this bind the Navy to our community and our community to the Navy, particularly the crew of this vessel.
I wish to express my appreciation for the dedicated service provided by all current and future members of the USS Kansas City. Any sailor who serves aboard the ship is an honorary Kansas Citian and sails with the full support of our community.
May you have fair winds and following seas.

Thanks to President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, I’m ecstatic to announce Missouri will receive more than $1.254 BILLION in 2022 to modernize roads, bridges, & highways across the Show Me State!
This federal funding is going to save Missourians money on costly auto repairs, decrease commute times, and ensure Missouri small businesses can ship goods at lower costs—all while creating a lot of good-paying union jobs!
I was proud to support the President's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and I look forward to working with state & local officials to maximize this federal funding in ways that will benefit middle-class Missourians throughout

I was honored to welcome President Joe Biden to Missouri this afternoon with Representative Sharice Davids, Mayor Quinton Lucas, RideKC, and the rest of the Kansas City community. For years now, politicians have been talking about investing in our decrepit infrastructure.
This is the President who actually delivered .
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will invest $9 billion to modernize Missouri’s roads and bridges, expand broadband to underserved communities, remove lead pipes, create sustainable transportation, and so much more. And it’s going to do all of that while creating tens of thousands of good-paying jobs for Missouri families.
I was proud to support this historic legislation because it’s going to rebuild our national infrastructure, keep America competitive on the world stage, and provide greater opportunities to middle-class Missourians in Kansas City and every community across the Show Me State.
This is how we begin to
The President is coming to town!
Excited to join President Joe Biden on Air Force One as he travels to KC today to highlight how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will help Missouri rebuild our roads and bridges, remove lead pipes, expand broadband, implement sustainable transit, and more!
