Corporate Council on Africa

Corporate Council on Africa The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), established in 1993, is at the forefront of strengthening and facilitating the commercial relationship between the United States and the African continent.
(6)

CCA works closely with governments, multilateral groups and business to improve the African continent's trade and investment climate, and to raise the profile of Africa in the US business community. Every two years it hosts a major U.S.-Africa Business Summit, including government and industry leaders from both continents -- with the aim of escalating investment on the continent.

Mission: CCA programs are designed to bring together potential business partners and raise Africa's investment profile in the US by developing critical contacts and business relationships and providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas.

Corporate Council on Africa (CCA)’s U.S.-Africa Health Security and Resilience Initiative Launch Event features a virtual panel discussion addressing the topic, 'Strengthening Africa’s Health Security: Lessons Learned from COVID-19'. The first of those lessons is that health security is no longer a single country agenda: to be effective, we need collaboration and deliberate information exchange.

That's where CCA comes in, with this initiative to establish connections between stakeholders whose combined efforts could enable African healthcare systems to increase their effectiveness in years to come.
