Thousands of workers across the U.S. would rather lose their jobs than be vaccinated

“Most private sector employees are ‘at will,’ meaning their employment can be terminated at any time, for any reason, no reason, even a factually mistaken reason, as long as the real reason is not EEO discrimination or potentially whistleblower retaliation. Even federal government employees, most of whom have a constitutionally-protected property interest in their continued federal employment, can be fired for failure to follow lawful directives by their employers. Given that, all employees in the USA need to realize that they can be fired for failing to comply with their employers’ COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Do the right thing for your Country and your job, get fully COVID vaccinated immediately. Thank you.”

Employers are firing workers for refusing to comply with vaccine mandates. They represent only a tiny fraction of overall employees, not even 1% in some workplaces. But it can add up to thousands.

Partner Melissa Lolotai convinced the United States Patent and Trademark Office to not remove her client, and instead to allow him to serve a two-week suspension. The Agency proposed the client’s removal based on AWOL, and Ms. Lolotai cited to the unique circumstances created by the global COVID pandemic which created uniquely devastating circumstances greatly affecting and hindering her Client’s ability to work. Ms. Lolotai was not only able to save her client’s job, but she was also able to save his ability to telework full-time, which meant he was not required to relocate across the country, back to his home office. In its proposal notice, the Agency had noted that even if the client was not removed, he would lose telework and would have to relocate. Ms. Lolotai explained the great hardship this would cause to her client, an otherwise outstanding employee. The Deciding Official was moved by Ms. Lolotai’s argument and allowed the client to continue with full-time telework. Read more case victories here: https://bit.ly/2Zatdki

Urgent question: Violation of Policy? I have a question. If an over greedy CEO is cutting staffing to dangerous levels with people who should never be admitted, does that not equate to a hostile work environment for the staff if the persons admitted are known to be extremely violent and there are no provisions for adequate male staff to protect staff and/or other patients? No security guards, no police officers, no one and the staff stay in a constant state of fear because of lack of staff and/or the violent people that are admitted to this facility. They allege they have no tolerance for dangerous and/or hostile work environments in their policies, many people have been seriously hurt, both patients and staff? This is urgent please?
