U.S. Department of Energy offices Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, Nuclear Energy and Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s Geothermal Technology Office announced the intent to fund front-end engineering design studies of direct air capture combined with dedicated carbon storage and coupled to existing low-carbon energy.
