Thanks to the COVID 19 Relief Law residents can lower monthly premiums and get health insurance as low as $2/month with no deductibles and low out-of-pocket costs. If laid off and received unemployment benefits anytime in 2021, residents may qualify for lower premiums even if they no longer receive unemployment benefits.

New and existing DC Health link customers can also get lower premiums. This event is hosted in partnership with the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the DC Chamber of Commerce and, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington.

PPP Loans and Forgiveness

To qualify your business had to have been in operation on or before February 15, 2020.

Authorized uses of PPP funds:
1. Payroll at same wages prior to pandemic
2. Business mortgage payments
3. Business rent or lease payments
4. Business utility payments

Second draw qualifications:
1. Received first draw and used all funds on authorized expenses (see above)
2. Business has no more than 300 employees
3. Business can demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross receipts 2019 and 2020

Anything outside of these qualifications there is no forgiveness it will be a loan.

#ALERT After more than a year of operation and serving more than eight million small businesses, funding for the bi-partisan Paycheck Protection Program has been exhausted. The SBA will continue funding outstanding approved PPP applications, but new qualifying applications will only be funded through Community Financial Institutions, financial lenders who serve underserved communities. The SBA is committed to delivering economic aid through the many COVID relief programs it is currently administering and beyond.
