MISSOURI VOTERS HAVE EARLY VOTING OPTIONS, and you do not have to wait until Election Day.

Here’s what you need to know:

EXCUSE-BASED ABSENTEE VOTING is available for voters who qualify under Missouri’s rules. You can vote in person or by mail if you expect to be prevented from voting on Election Day because you are:

>>absent from your voting jurisdiction,

>>incapacitated or confined due to illness or physical disability, or caring for someone who is,

>>restricted by religious belief or practice,

>>employed by an election authority, as a first responder, as a health care worker, or as law enforcement,

>>incarcerated but still eligible to vote, or

>>a participant in Missouri’s Address Confidentiality Program.

NO-EXCUSE IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING is available to all voters. It begins two weeks before Election Day and ends the day before Election Day.

For the 2026 primary election, no-excuse early voting runs July 21 to August 3.

What else to remember:

>>Absentee voting is generally done at your local election authority office or another location designated by that office.

>>If voting absentee in person, bring an acceptable photo ID.

>>If voting by mail, your absentee BALLOT REQUEST must be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 22

Check with your local election authority for exact hours, locations, and any county-specific details.

Find your local election authority here: https://www.sos.mo.gov/elections/goVoteMissouri/localelectionauthority

Voting early can help avoid last-minute problems and make Election Day easier.

Share this so more Missouri voters know their options.

WHY ATTEND THE GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON RALLY?

Because democracy doesn’t defend itself.

Good Trouble Lives On is part of a national weekend of action honoring the legacy of Congressman John Lewis, who reminded us that sometimes we must get into “good trouble” — peaceful, necessary trouble — to protect justice, voting rights, civil rights, and the freedom of all people to be heard.

Showing up matters because:

✅ It reminds our leaders that power belongs to the people.
✅ It shows our neighbors they are not alone.
✅ It honors the generations who marched, organized, and sacrificed for the rights we have today.
✅ It helps turn concern into action — including checking voter registration, learning what’s on the ballot, and preparing to vote.
✅ It sends a clear message that Missourians are paying attention.

Join us at the Missouri State Capitol on Saturday, July 18, at 10:00 AM for the Good Trouble Lives On Rally.

Speakers include Jess Piper, Rev. W. T. Edmonson, and Tony Michaels.

Bring your voice. Bring a sign. Bring a friend.

Good trouble is peaceful. Good trouble is powerful. Good trouble lives on when we show up.
