Essence Music Festival



The Essence Music Festival Internship Program is an outstanding experience,
allowing college students and college graduates to have the chance to experience the
high energy and drive it takes to have a career in special event production. This program
has helped students launch careers, discover future job opportunities, and enabled
access to a robust network of industry contacts and life long friends from different all
over the United States.
Interns are required to work the full week of the festival, July 6th through the 8th, as
well as the pre-event days of July 2nd to July 5th. Interns will be stationed at both the
Louisiana Superdome and the Ernest M. Morial Convention Center, working in a variety
of departments, including the Art Marketplace, Empowerment Seminars, Production,
Sponsorship, Information and Greeting, Talent, and Art.
