DC Department of Parks and Rec-SouthEast Tennis & Learning Center The Southeast Tennis and Learning Center is the premier tennis site of the DC area. The center has 4 in-door tennis courts and 6 out-door tennis courts.

During the school-year the center offers after school programming for ages 6-17 with playing levels of beginner to advanced. In the evening and weekend adult advanced/intermediate classes are offered

Mission: to use tennis as a builder of confidence, the teacher of fair play, the mediator in using strengths to overcome weaknesses, the motivator of academic excellence and the bridge between competition and compassion.

Amenities at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center include 10 tennis courts, a library/media room, several multi-purpose rooms, and a computer lab. The Center offers tennis classes from age three through adult year round. The computer lab is available for students to use after school; computer assistance and homework help is provided.
