The assault on the voting rights continues - despite push-back from the courts. The United States Postal Service (USPS) announced Friday new eligibility guidelines for mail-in ballots, complying with President Trump’s March executive order restricting the practice — despite a federal court later striking it down.

USPS’s 95-page unpublished report, slated for an official release on Aug. 26, detailed how it would distribute mail-in ballots for November’s midterms. The requirements closely resemble Trump’s blocked mandate, which ordered states to submit a list of eligible, voting citizens if they want their voters to received mail-in ballots.

Here in NJ we have secure ballot drop-off boxes in all counties and NJ OAG is fighting Trump administration to protect voter data.

The data was fabricated to support false narrative that noncitizen voting in 2020.

CLAIM: A Census Bureau report looking at 128 million voters states that more than 24,000 noncitizens voted in the 2020 election.

THE FACTS: This is false. The report says it checked data from a commercial voter file against federal records to identify noncitizens who allegedly voted in the election. According to experts, the methodology described in the report created false positives if, for example, an individual’s name was linked to the wrong address or their citizenship status hadn’t been updated in a certain database. Details about error rates and how the report ensured accurate results were not included. The claims about the 2020 election issues are still just lies.

In his most recent challenge to the results of the 2020 U.S. election, President Donald Trump this week cited a report claiming to show that thousands of noncitizens voted, a practice studies have found to be extremely rare.
