There was no income tax in America until 1913, because the founding fathers opposed a direct tax on the citizens.
Everything was funded through tariffs until 1913, when the unconstitutional income tax was passed into law by the progressive.
We need to abolish the income tax, and return to tariffs, just like President Trump is doing, !and we can abolish the income tax here in Maine, putting your money back in your pocket!

The reason I am a top fan?
David Jones will lead from the bottom up, understanding that the hard men and women working and trying to raise families in Maine no exactly what many of the problems are within their communities, and all communities in Maine have many of the same problems, but many of different problems, meaning we are not all the same, and a one size fits all plan will not work.
David believes in local control, and he is the type of man that means what he says, and says what he means, and he wants to make Main the way life should be again.
My family has been fighting for freedom since the beginning of America, and David Jones stands beside me in that fight, and we are willing to sacrifice for our children, and for the children of Maine, to start heading back in the right direction with common sense, and we want to help every person in Maine, whether they support us or not, because we are guided by the Lord, and the Lord is our guide.

So I have been talking about a bill that I have written, and it is written and complete.
I wrote this next statement years ago, with a few small changes, explaining it, and the bill would bring fair representation back to rural Maine, and so much more.
“Want to Understand How to Fix Maine? We need to Restore Honor and Respect to our Maine State Senate, and in doing so, the entire governing body of our Legislature if anyone really wants to help get Maine back on track. While researching our state governing body for many years, I have found the solution to accomplish just that. Our Maine Senate, back in the formation of the State of Maine in 1820, we should have had 2 state senators for each County, not senate districts like we have today, and what this has lead to over the years, with the gradual changing of occupations of employment and business opportunities, is differing cultures from south to north in our state. Now, the heavily populated areas of the southern part of our state actually control the northern part of our state. We need to change to 2 state senators per County to fix the majority rule over the minority, simply stated. The US Congress is set up this way for the exact same reason, to protect the smaller states from the bigger, populated states. Any politician who opposes this Maine Constitutional change is revealing their intentions, to not do what is best for Maine, and only protecting the chaos in Augusta, and continuing it, and also to protect themselves, their rule over us, and their job in politics. If we do change our senate to what I propose, it would make a divided government, meaning, no more one party rule, bring fair representation back to Augusta for rural Maine, and more importantly, bring civility and bi-partisanship back to Maine politics, and better bills and laws. Our Maine Senate is supposed to be a deliberate body, professionally researching bills, and not support emotional flawed legislation. There would be no more 3000 bills proposed in Augusta, most passed recklessly through the Legislature. Ultimately, if this proposed amendment is passed by Augusta, and voted in by the Citizens of Maine, it would bring fairness, equality, opportunity and prosperity back to Maine people.”

It is unbelievable. Somebody has to get up and say this, but somebody has to.
It is called speaking truth to Power, and you have to be brave and courageous to do this, to actually stand in front of the power, and say what David Jones for Governor just said.
