Nominations Sought for 2017 CNO Environmental Awards

"As the Navy strives to adapt to modern threats and keep our technological edge, we should remember that our decisions about protecting the environment can either enhance or undermine what we're trying to do. We can preserve trust with the public and our partner organizations, or we can damage that trust, and the planet we share, through careless and irresponsible choices. This awards program showcases commands and individuals who excel in doing the right thing for the environment today and making the Navy resilient enough to meet the mission for the future." - Capt.
