Thank you Watertown Current for allowing a voice to be heard! When someone is willing to put their neck out there, it says more than you know. Carol Maloney is a respected official in Codington County and I had the pleasure of working next door to her. She has seen first hand how the Auditor’s Office has been running for the last four years. Voting for me will allow me the opportunity to bring back the integrity that office once had. I know there are things I will need to get back up to speed on and learn, but I am ready and willing to give Codington County everything I worked so hard for in the 13 years I was there.

I’m sharing this here because in my past experience in the Auditor’s Office a lot of early voters were stopping up to pay property taxes and just cast their ballots while they were in the court house. Save yourself the postage and just drop it off and get your voting out of the way while you are there. Codington county has always made early voting so convenient for all residents, especially during tax season.

The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host an upcoming Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 6th at the Watertown Event Center – Heritage Theatre!

This is an opportunity for our community to hear directly from the candidates, learn more about their backgrounds and priorities, and hear their responses to important questions facing our area.

The evening will feature candidates for:

🔹 South Dakota House of Representatives – District 5

The forum will begin at 6:00 PM with the Codington County Auditor candidates, followed by District 4 and then District 5.
