The race for Attorney General comes down to one very simple but very important fact: I will always stand with law enforcement. My opponent, Jeff Jackson, won't.

Jeff Jackson's plan to let boys compete against girls in high school athletics left a young North Carolina girls volleyball player with a severe bran injury. Jeff won't protect North Carolina families. He's too woke to be Attorney General. Watch 👁️

Great to be on the trail with Pam Bondi, former Florida AG and career prosecutor. Her charge: "There is no one who will keep North Carolina safer. Get out and vote for Dan Bishop."

Once you’ve seen my law enforcement endorsements for Attorney General below, ask yourself:

1-Jeff Jackson claims that his legal experience is superior because only he has “been a prosecutor.” Why then do law enforcement leaders overwhelmingly endorse ME, including the District Attorneys — THE PROSECUTORS — plus the sheriffs, and every major police organization? Could it be that people serving in law enforcement for 30-40 years know that Jeff’s 3 years as a baby prosecutor followed by 8 years of pure politics do not measure up to my 30-year litigation career in trial and appellate courts?

2-Jeff claims that I’m an “extremist” and “culture warrior.” In whose book? Is it likely that those many, highly experienced servants of the law would publicly endorse me if that were true? Could it be that Jeff is employing the woke lexicon equating traditional, apolitical, and strong law enforcement and policing with “extremism,” the same poisonous rhetoric that has put cops on the defensive and caused crime to surge? Might my endorsers know that that policy direction makes their jobs impossible and families less safe?

3-Will Jeff publish any law enforcement endorsements at all? Even his primary opponent, the Soros-style District Attorney for Durham, lampooned Jeff’s experience deficit, saying that we need an Attorney General who “actually knows what she is doing.” If any law enforcement endorsements are available to Jeff at all, would they serve only to reinforce how woke he is? Is that why he has announced none?

4-If Jeff is the bipartisan, moderate, straight talker he poses to be, when he “sets the record straight” on his large social media accounts, why doesn’t he attempt to explain my vast advantage in law enforcement endorsements? Could he be doing something other than straight talk?

Go vote!

🚨 You won't read this in the mainstream media. My opponent, Jeff Jackson, got caught embracing a convicted child molester and registered s*x offender. Read the story and make sure you let people know👇

A North Carolina Democrat running in a high-profile race to be the state’s attorney general hugged a convicted s*x offender after receiving an LGBTQ award in 2022, according to video footage obtained by The Daily Wire. Footage of the December 13, 2022 Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce event....

Yesterday I was able to spend some time out in Western NC to assist the folks on the ground, survey the damage, and hear more about what they need to rebuild.

This is a long-term effort, and we will be there every step of the way.

Our state is blessed with strong and kindhearted people who come together to help each other in tough times. It’s inspiring to witness.

We’re so grateful for the countless men and women from all over the state and nation who have stepped up to help in the response and recovery.

Jo and I ask that you join us in praying for our neighbors in Western North Carolina.

The devastation is staggering and the recovery will be long and challenging. The entire congressional delegation will be working in Washington to make sure the federal government is supporting our state.

Meanwhile, we have donated to two disaster relief organizations that are already on the ground leading recovery efforts in Western North Carolina: SamaritansPurse.org and BaptistsOnMission.org. There are many equally worthy relief agencies you could choose to support, including the Red Cross (redcross.org/donate) and the NC Disaster Relief Fund operated by the state government (nc.gov/donate).

From all advice received, our gifts are far more helpful at this time than our presence, so please share what you can.

Tragedies like Hurricane Helene bring out the best in people – a desire to help their neighbors and to serve – but sadly they also can bring out the worst in some. Please be on the lookout for scammers seeking to take advantage of the disaster. You can report scams and price gouging through the NC Department of Public Safety: ncdps.gov/our-organization/emergency-management/hurricane-helene

The Charlotte Observer profile yesterday of Jeff Jackson contains an error. They wrote:

"Under North Carolina’s constitution, Jackson could not work in the district attorney’s office and be a state senator. So, he stepped into private practice in 2014 at the law firm Womble Bond Dickinson. There, he worked on a few civil cases, representing Wells Fargo when it was a defendant in an insurance case; a man who was owed money from Holly Springs and its town manager; and a woman asking for a divorce, according to court records."

Actually, it's even more pitiful. Two of those cases predated Jeff's move to Womble in 2014. He filed the (uncontested) divorce case in 2010 and the money-owed case against the Holly Springs town manager in 2013. So, "there" (i.e. in his eight years at Womble), state court records show that he "worked on" ONE case, not these "few."

Screenshots from the online, publicly accessible court records are posted below.

I understand. It's hard to litigate, run for office, and serve in the legislature at the same time. In the FIVE years that I ran for and served in the state legislature and then ran for Congress, I was only able to appear in 19 cases in the state and federal trial courts and 34 in the NC Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

I request that they correct the story. Thanks.
