I was unable to make the meeting this morning. I considered leaving vacation early to get back for this meeting. However, I want to share this photo I took from the June 25th meeting. If you notice the Ware County seal says " Ware, County of progress".

What's up with all the RV parks?

I think this is an early sign of large projects coming to our area. Let me know if you have seen a new one pop up!

I plan to do a records request monday and hopefully will have the actual numbers next week to update you all.

The chicken ordinance passed! 🐔🐔

Today Ware County adopted an ordinance from the city. This will allow those in residential zones to have a limited number of poultry. 25 birds or less, coop has to be 100ft from a neighboring home. More than 25 birds, has to 1000ft from a neighboring home. Roosters will not be allowed.

I hope this allows the citizens to be more self sufficient. I know im excited to start planning our garden and coop for next year. Showing our daughter how our land can provide for us.
