Rural mobile notary life! I was on my way to an assignment. Check out these foxes! The kits were running back and forth through the drainage culvert. There was one parent with them. Then a little ways off in the distance the other parent was killing dinner. I know some of my friends may recognize the intersection.

I have been a mobile notary now for a full year! I have learned a lot! I have to admit, in the beginning I thought that it was basically ID, record and stamp. What I have discovered is that I am a witness for a lot of the "BIG" stuff.

Refinances are the bulk of my work, but I am talking about parents making custody arrangements for their kids, elderly people preparing for their end stages, divorces, adoption paperwork, people selling their homes and buying new homes. I have also helped people get paperwork notarized that are homebound for various reasons. One thing is for sure, every single day is different and I have met a lot of different people from all walks of life. I have also had to walk away from some assignments due to various legal factors. I am positive that this year is going to be just as interesting as the past year!
