What an incredible day.🤗

Today, we had the privilege of joining Sarah Beckstrom's family and friends as a memorial bench was dedicated in her honor.

As we stood together, shared memories, and reflected on Sarah's life, one thing became abundantly clear-her impact continues to be felt throughout our community.

The beautiful bench, engraved with Sarah's name and accompanied by her favorite scripture, serves as a lasting reminder of a young woman who answered the call to serve her country with courage, dedication, and selflessness.

Blue Star Mothers WV2 is honored to help preserve Sarah's legacy through the Sarah Beckstrom Memorial Fund and through continued efforts to ensure her story is never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this memorial possible and to all who continue to support Sarah's family.

May we always remember Sergeant Sarah Beckstrom.

Some people leave an impact that cannot be measured by years alone.

Sergeant Sarah Beckstrom was one of those people.

She was a daughter, a friend, a Soldier, and a proud member of our Webster County community. Sarah chose a life of service, answering the call to serve her nation with courage and dedication.

While we cannot change the loss felt by those who loved her, we can ensure that her name, her service, and her legacy are never forgotten.

The Sarah Beckstrom Memorial Fund was established to honor Sarah's memory and preserve the values she embodied: service, sacrifice, compassion, and commitment to others.

As we continue to share Sarah's story, we invite you to help us keep her legacy alive.

🇺🇸 Today we recognize and celebrate Women Veterans Recognition Day.

On June 12, 1948, the Women's Armed Services Integration Act was signed into law, opening the door for women to serve as permanent members of the United States Armed Forces.

Today, we honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of the women who have worn our nation's uniform and continue to serve their communities long after their military service ends.

To all women veteransthank you for your service.
