From the greatest conservation warrior in Wells who’s protected our stunning town through his passionate work on the Wells Conservation Committee, I’m humbled to have Owen Grumbling’s endorsement:

Kristin is my neighbor and a good one. She cares about nearby neighbors whose trailer homes are being threatened by greed, and she is a highly informed advocate for environmental safety regarding the construction of data centers and pfas processing plants. I've observed how carefully she listens to people and their concerns. Please join me in supporting Kristin for Maine State House 145.

Sincerely,
Owen Grumbling

This weekend, Patrick & I cast our votes as a commitment to you, the people of Wells. Kerri voted her first time from overseas! 🩵 🗳️

A commitment to listen, work across the aisle, and deliver real solutions to the challenges facing our community.

My vote is for affordable housing. Helping young families buy their first home, homeowners stay in theirs, apartments people can afford - so future generations can build a life here in Wells.

My vote is for education.
Investing in our students, teachers, and schools so every child has the opportunity to succeed.

My vote is for affordable healthcare. Ensuring our families & seniors can access the care they need and not feel like they have to go without because they fear an avalanche of medical bills.

My vote is ALWAYS for our mobile home communities. Protecting our residents from unreasonable lot rent increases & helping them stay in their homes. YES ON 6!

My vote is for our first responders. Giving those who protect us the resources & support they deserve.

My vote is for affordability. Tackling rising property taxes, heating bills, fuel, and the everyday grocery costs squeezing Wells families driven by the war in Iran and the increasing instability of the Middle East.

My vote is for conservation. We’ll collaborate to protect our land, fishing industry, our coastal families and shore to be more resilient to climate change.

My vote is for keeping data centers out of Wells. Let’s bring in real businesses that we can all use and enjoy. YES ON 5!

My vote is protecting women’s rights. The right to choose her healthcare and what happens to her body is between her, her family and doctor.

My vote is for small businesses & reducing taxes on our hospitality industry - our hotels & restaurants. They employ our residents, we need to make it easier for them to win.

Above all, my vote is for putting people before politics.

These aren’t Democratic, Unenrolled or Republican challenges. Solving them means working together & I’m committed to doing the hard work to win.

I believe in Wells & our neighbors. And I believe our best days are ahead of us.

To the voters of House District 145,
We recommend Kristin Davis for the Maine House of Representatives.

Kristin is very pleasant and friendly, but don't let that fool you. She is the most determined advocate for Wells and Wells people that you could find.

She grew up in Maine and has raised her two children in Wells since 2017 with her husband, Patrick. She holds degrees in business administration and economics from the University of Southern Maine and a master's in public administration and public policy from American University. After 12 years in the infant feeding industry, she now runs a business focused on child passenger safety. Back at Verizon, she walked picket lines for weeks alongside her CWA Local 1400 coworkers.

When a sewage sludge incinerator was proposed in Sanford, PFAS contamination would have reached Wells residents. Kristin took the lead in researching, determining the facts and speaking out publicly against the project. Her diligence and intensity helped put that project on hold, and she's still at it.

Kristin has taken a leading role in the Yes on 6 campaign to help Wells residents in mobile home parks gain some justice. She went to multiple meetings at a mobile home park, met residents whose lot rent alone took about 52% of their monthly income, and has organized alongside them since. In her words, it's about "seeing these people stand up and realize they have power in their own hands."

Kristin has endorsements from the Maine AFL-CIO, Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund, EMILY's List, and the Maine People's Alliance. Kristin likes to say she's not a politician, she's a proud Wells Warrior Mom. That's who Wells needs in Augusta. We’re glad to recommend her, and I hope you'll join us in voting for Kristin Davis on November 3.

Thank you,

John & Ursula Stanton

I’m voting for Kristin Davis for Maine House and here are some reasons you should too!

Kristin isn’t even in office yet, and she’s already fighting for all of us in Wells. When residents packed the select board room to ask for protection for mobile home park rent, she was standing in it with us, and she saw something I’ll never forget: ordinary people realizing they had power. She showed up to ALL of our meetings with baked goods in tow!

That’s who I want in Augusta. Someone who lives here, feels what it costs to live here, and listens first. Groceries, heating oil, healthcare, a roof you can afford to keep over your head: none of that is red or blue. It’s just life in Maine.

Signs can disappear. Kristin doesn’t. (Kristin’s still out there knocking on doors.)

We’re all in this together. Kristin Davis was already fighting for Wells before anyone gave her a title. 💙

Endorsement: Kristin Davis for State House District 145

I first met Kristin Davis when a controversial sludge processing treatment plant was proposed in a neighboring community. She immediately dove into understanding the technology behind the facility, analyzing the financial health of the company involved, and examining the secondary impacts of increased truck traffic through residential neighborhoods. That experience showed me firsthand the incredible value her education and business background bring to our community, and her unwavering willingness to use it for the benefit of Wells.

Since then, I’ve seen her core values and dedication to fairness in action time and again - most notably when she stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our neighbors in local mobile home parks as their lot rents skyrocketed.

With Kristin, you always know where she stands. She is a dedicated advocate for:

-Reproductive rights

-Quality education

-Lowering the cost of living

-Access to affordable housing

She listens, she works hard, and she possesses the exact combination of education, practical experience, and clarity of vision that our community needs.

That is why I am proud to support Kristin Davis for State House District 145.

The night I met Kristin, she was attending an organizational meeting for mobile home park lot rent stabilization at the Wells Library. She was opening a door and taking the arm of a man with a walker, and I thought, "How kind of her." Over the subsequent months, I have witnessed Kristin's kindness many times, and marveled at her non-stop energy and articulateness. She is exactly the person we need in Augusta!
