Transparency and Commitment

My opponent sat on the City Council that created the city's financial disaster while possessing the most financial expertise in the room, voted for and against building the events center and then suddenly resigned a year early from his council position.

I admire him for wanting to fix the mess and convincing me not to run for Mayor 4 years ago.

But many citizens including me voted for him because he told everyone he was only going to run for 1 term. Once again he has not kept his word.

My word is my bond, I keep my commitments. I intend to hang the Rotary 4-way test in the Mayor's office.

One of the main concerns I hear from the public is that they don't trust their government. Whether there is reason or not, people's perception is their reality. That's precisely why I wouldn't ask someone to endorse me that is presently on the City Council or that directly or indirectly reports to me. If it doesn't pass my ethics test, it doesn't happen. I will immediately go to work to regain confidence and trust in our city government.

I invite you to compare our community service records.

I've been serving and protecting our citizens for 28 years through my volunteer work with Chelan County Fire District #1, as a Reserve Officer for the Wenatchee Police Department, Mobile Meals volunteer, Applarian, and through numerous other organizations including Rotary. I've also served the community as a Good Samaritan for the past 35 years and responded to thousands of calls for service. It was very disturbing to receive a letter from the city attorney just a month before filing for office, telling me to stop my Good Samaritan activities.

Using a football sports analogy, it appears that the city is being run from the quarterback position. I believe that the Mayor of Wenatchee should be running the city from the position of coach, and I'm ready to be your coach and leader.

With respect to leadership, I've heard that if you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there. It appears that my opponent wants to get things done quickly and tends to take off down roads with his own destination in mind.

A true leader lets the people that elect him determine the destination together in a collaborative fashion, and then leads them to their common destination.

I'm excited about the opportunity to work together with our citizens to integrate and unite our community in order to become "One Wenatchee". Let's reach our destination together; are you with me?

Let's reach our destination together. Be sure to vote for Bryan Campbell for Mayor of Wenatchee.

TINA TIDD: CAMPBELL'S A WINNER

I am writing in support of Bryan Campbell for Wenatchee mayor. His approach reminds me a lot of my husband Steve’s when he competed in the Ridge to River Relay so many years as an ironman. Steve competed with intensity, but he always competed in the spirit of competition, never seeking to take advantage of another athlete unfairly. At the finish line there weren’t any hard feelings, and Steve always enjoyed visiting with other competitors and hearing about their experiences over the challenging course. In this way, I think Steve gained a lot of respect while always wanting the best for other athletes as well.
As mayor, I believe Bryan would serve the city in a similar fashion, always with intensity, but never in a way that people would feel as if they were treated unfairly in the end. Like Steve, Bryan would provide leadership to reach goals, challenge the course, and be respected at the finish.
The people of Wenatchee pay every day for mistakes in the past by paying higher sales tax and we seem to have lost communication with Chelan County to resolve annexation issues. Let’s change that by competing together, challenging each other to get there faster, respecting each other, and having fun in the process.
Join me in voting Bryan Campbell for mayor.

CHARLES STEINBERG: Vote yes for BRYAN CAMPBELL

We're ready to unite and empower our citizens and come together as "One Wenatchee"
I endorse Bryan Campbell for Mayor of Wenatchee. Here are a few reasons why. Bryan has 14 years of experience as a Wenatchee Reserve Police Officer. He has 28 years of experience as a Volunteer Firefighter with Chelan County Fire District #1.
Bryan Campbell has seen us in crisis and when we need healing. He would not outsource the Wenatchee Police Department to the Chelan County Sheriff’s office and is against the proposed tax increases.
Vote yes for BRYAN CAMPBELL, his business leadership, his community service, and his collaborative style of leadership that is desperately needed in Wenatchee. The present Mayor did what he was elected to do with the help of the City Council, members of the Public Facilities District, and the voters of Proposition 1, but he promised he’d run once.
Time for Bryan Campbell.

VICKI MALLOY: Bryan is a great man, whose values of honesty, family and faith will serve our community well.

We love serving our community!

It is my pleasure to endorse Bryan Campbell for Mayor. Throughout his life in the Wenatchee Valley, Bryan has committed himself to serving our community through volunteerism in many organizations including Chelan County Fire District #1 and Wenatchee Police Reserves. He currently serves as Mayor Pro Tem on the Wenatchee City Council and is the owner of Pro Active Business Solutions and Pro Active Real Estate. He thrived in the banking industry for 27 years and retired as Senior Vice President.

What stands out the most about Bryan is he has proven himself to have great concern for the residents of Wenatchee. His dedication, business sense, and willingness to reach collaborative decisions by utilizing his expertise and that of the City Council will promote a healthy and positive environment for Wenatchee.

Bryan is a great man, whose values of honesty, family and faith will serve our community well.
