Hi, friends! 👋🏼 After our last PopUp PlayDate I didn’t get a chance to formally say goodbye. I will be taking a break for the summer and will be absent from this space so I can soak up all the summer time goodness with my kiddos 🥰 THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to be apart of your and your little’s lives. It was a privilege getting to know you and being able to bring some messy play, creativity, and imagination into your day 💜 I hope you have a wonderful summer! ☀️

Hi 👋🏼 We have so many new faces here I thought we were due for an introduction! I’m Amanda Mallek! The face behind a PopUp PlayDate 💜 I started PopUp PlayDate in November of 2021. When my daughter started Kindergarten I felt space open up in my life for the first time since becoming a mom. I wanted to find something to fill that space that would still enable me to stay at home full time. I decided to combine my passion for messy play, giving kids freedom to explore, FUN, creativity, and meaningful conversations and connection into one place. It has been an incredible journey that has brought so much goodness into my life.
Some facts about me:
💜 I’m a mom of two. A 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son.
💜 My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We started dating when we were 17 and got engaged when we were 18. Young love 🤣 We celebrate our 10 year anniversary this July!
💜 My husband and I are originally from Wisconsin and moved to Florida 7 years ago.
💜 My perfect meal always includes queso.
💜 I love messy play, but I’m real committed to my night time clean up routine 🤣
💜 Both of my pregnancies were a surprise!
💜 I have the best intentions, but will fall asleep within the first 10 minutes of every movie and show.
Thank you for following along on this journey! It has been one of the highlights of my life 🌈

I had so much fun being apart of Miss Scarlett’s birthday 💜 For her birthday we decided on a rainbow theme 🌈
Activities included rainbow water play, play doh creation station, rainbow bracelets, party hat decorating, rainbow bingo dauber creations, butterfly magic wands, water bead sensory bin, party rice sensory bin, bug discovery bin, and the Montessori water play station. The activities were in constant use and were such a great place for littles to explore and play. I love that I was able to add creativity, imagination, and play to her special day 💜

I loved cohosting the Earth Day PopUp PlayDate with MOMS Club of Wesley Chapel Florida! They have been so supportive and encouraging of PopUp PlayDate. Inviting friends, sharing photos, and cohosting events. They are the definition of women supporting women. It was my honor to support them in raising funds for Climb out of the darkness! 💜
