The organization was founded in 1974 under the name Milwaukee Area American Indian Manpower Council by representatives of the Milwaukee American Indian community with funding from the US Department of Labor to assist Native Americans with employment and training services.

In 2021, Spotted Eagle underwent a transition period of new leadership. This has allowed us to assess and restructure our organization as we move forward. Our staff is actively developing more effective strategies to serve the American Indian community in its designated service areas.

Spotted Eagle Inc. welcomes Brad Kroupa Ph.D. as Executive Director and Alexa Eggers as Case Manager.
